Hi, I'm Heather. I'm so glad you're here! Just a little about me:​ My late angel of a mother taught me how to sew when I was a teenager and I very quickly fell in love with it. It's an almost lost art. I've been sewing my own dresses, pillows, purses blankets, and more ever since. There's a meaningful joy that comes from creating these personal masterpieces. I started Bobbin Basics as a way to express that joy and to teach others how to find it for themselves. My classes right now are kid-focused, and boy do I have some great students! I'd love to meet you and your child and show you what you can do with a sewing machine, some fabric and little thread. See you soon!
